Florist: Reserve your wedding date in advance with the florist you choose. You do not need to order your flowers this far in advance, but so that you get the florist you want they need to know that they will be doing your wedding on your particular date.

The various flower arrangements you will need: Bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids. Boutonnieres for the groomsmen and ushers. You may also want boutonnieres for the fathers. You may also want to decorate the ceremony and reception sites. Be aware also of the ceremony site restrictions, like the Notre Dame Basilica has several restrictions on what you can have as decorations.

Find you florist after you have chosen your wedding color scheme. Take with you to the florist the style and color of your bridal gown and the bridesmaids dresses, swatches of cloth are always good, and your florist can suggest boquets and flowers to compliment your chosen colors.
